Mid-term review of the ABC Cerrado Project to promote low-carbon agriculture

(2017) The work, developed in partnership with Ductor/Tüv  qualitatively and quantitatively evaluated whether the goals and development objective of the ABC Cerrado Project, conducted by SENAR with resources from the World Bank, can be achieved as originally programmed and will produce the expected impact.

The objective of the ABC Cerrado Project is to promote the adoption of selected low-carbon sustainable agricultural technologies by medium-sized agricultural producers in the Cerrado. 12,000 producers are beneficiaries of the Project. The mid-term evaluation considered aspects such as the qualification of the medium rural producer; technical and managerial assistance in the field; management, monitoring and evaluation of the project, supported by documents, visits and scripted interviews applied to the teams working in the Project and to the beneficiaries.
