The Implementation of the Food Acquisition Program (PAA)

(2010) At the request of the Ministry of Social Development and Fight against Hunger (MDS), via the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the study addresses the Family Agriculture Food Acquisition Program (PAA). The PAA is one of the main examples of an intersectoral program that establishes links between the supply of food from family farming and the demand for food for public programs and equipment (school meals, hospitals, free food distribution, prisons, etc.) the formation of stocks. Volume I of the study deals with the PAA in the context of one of the axes of the Zero Hunger Program. Volume II seeks to rescue some aspects of the PAA implementation process and how it became one of the most symbolic within the scope of Fome Zero.
