Poles for the Production of Energy, Food and Citizenship: concept and application in public policies

(2009) When addressing environmental sustainability, biofuels emerge as recurring themes with regard to alternatives to preserve natural resources. Faced with the new context, in which food production is constantly debated together with these issues, the study broadens the debate on the subject, bringing together concepts, processes, methods, arguments and viable options for the production of biofuels to become a effective solution, not competing with food production or influencing existing biomes.
